How do I place an order?

 

If you have seen a product that you like and are wanting to purchase then please either e-mail or call Katie to discuss.  Alternatively, If you have your own design in mind and want a design consultation, then please either call or e-mail Katie and a design meeting can be arranged.

 

Blacksmith Munro attends a variety of craft and handmade events; it is worth looking on the news page to see all upcoming shows, as she may be at an event near you, where you can visit her stand and discuss any ideas you may have.

 

What will it cost?

 

When a quote has been given for a commission the quote will then remain valid for 30 days; if after the 30 days, please request a new quote.

 

Once a quote has been provided and the commission given the go ahead, the price will stay exactly the same.

 

How do I pay for my order?

 

Depending on the price and commission payment will be required upon completion and collection; however, for any commissions over £500 a percentage of the overall price will be required as a deposit.

 

Payment is accepted via any of the following: cash, cheque, or bank trasnfer.

 

Can I cancel an order?

 

Once work has begun there is no cancelation; however, a confirmation e-mail will be sent informing you of when work will commence to give you time to cancel an order.

 

What materials do you use?

 

Blacksmith Munro predominately used mild steel in all her work. Other materials used include, sterling silver, brass, copper and stainless steel.

 

What are the delivery options?

 

If orders do not require fitting they will be sent via first class Royal Mail. If you are local it is possible to either collect or to have the item delivered upon request.

 

How long will my order take to arrive?

 

You will receive an e-mail informing you your order is ready.  Depending on the delivery method you will be informed when the item is complete. By choosing Royal Mail the item will be posted the next working day, 1st class with an estimated delivery of 2 days.

 

With local collection or hand delivery a date that is most suitable for you will be arranged.

 

Do I need to sign for delivery?

 

You will only need to sign for delivery if you have requested a fast tracked delivery, it is a large order or it is over £500.

 

Can I return an Item?

 

Any commission made specifically for an order will have a no return policy; however, If you have purchased a stock item, you may exchange this.

 

Blacksmith Munro will not cover the cost of postage for returns.

 

Do you ship over seas?

 

Blacksmith Munro is happy to ship over seas and price will depend on the size of the order.  An additional quote for postage and packaging will be sent to any over seas orders.
